Marketing ideas usually underwhelm me, but sometimes things are done that make me say "cool" out loud. Like this Addidas thing they did this past weekend where they converted an empty store front (the old Pottery Barn space) into a court for a 3-on-3 tournament.

Walked past this cheesy tile art this morning. Normally I'd ignore it, but today I had this internal longing to be somewhere like this.
The early budding leaves and flowers of spring have sprouted due to this ridiculously perfect weather. Helps to remind me that living in LA is awesome even when I'm stuck on the 405 for over an hour every morning.

It's now 9pm. I've been here for 12 hours so far. I'm at a cool place called Hybrid in Santa Monica. We're finishing an eHarmony spot. Just had Indian food which hopefully I won't regret later.
