Fall is in full effect in Studio City. Who says there are no seasons in Cali.

Friday brought rain to Santa Monica, but also a beautiful, inspirational-poster worthy sunset. (Btw, I don't know how much better the 4s can get over this 4g shot.)

Saw this guy with a purple car with a sticker on the side that read, "Boobies." I thought, I shouldn't judge him. But then I thought, what an idiot. 

The shrine for Jobs keeps getting grander. 

Public defacement is funny sometimes. 

Walked past Apple store and saw this touching shot. RIP Mr. Jobs. 

I miss my old neighborhood. Silver Lake!

Saw a rainbow yesterday at twilight. They still feel magical to me no matter how many I've seen in my lifetime. 

Was at POP Sound. They had these Russian doll-type things that taught me the history of British prime ministers. Sure this knowledge will come in handy. 

Lego Land is freaking amazing. Everything is really made from tiny Lego pieces. Blows my mind. 

I knew quirky, recycled stuff existed all over Santa Monica, but was caught off-guard by these apartment walls on my walk today. 

Took a walk at lunch and was reminded that I'm lucky to work in a place where people from all over the world come to visit. 

Just had my 5th taste tickled with an Umami burger. Damn fine piece of meat. 

Food trucks are all the rage now.  I guess this would be considered an old-school one. 

Is nothing sacred anymore? I guess in the quest for eternal youth even placentas are sacrificed. 

I was crossing the street when I spotted this sticker. I've always had an affinity with the drummer. I'm no lead singer. 

Didn't see any fireworks last night, but the sky was beautiful nonetheless. 

Was back in New York again, but this time upstate. Huge contrast to the city. 

It was a long day of shooting, but having a great crew, easy client and lots of coffee helps. 

Nights in NYC are always so amazing to me. From dark, candlelit restaurants and bars to late-late walks for pizza. I love LA, but New York is my mistress. 

In NYC for a quickie photoshoot. The producer did good and got us into a hip hotel. 

As I was taking this pic of a very photogenic plate of mini cupcakes, a co-worker laughed and asked if I was gonna put it on my blog not knowing I had a blog. I felt totally lame. But screw it, i thought they looked pretty cool collectively. 

Saw time walking away from me yesterday. 

Went for a long stroll today and found myself in the arts district of N. Hollywood (or NOHO). I knew nothing about this area but its Entertainment Industry roots became clear after a few blocks. 

I'm slowly starting to embrace my new neighborhood in Studio City. But I can't get over the fact that sidewalks are sporadic and abruptly end, leaving you walking on grass or into a bush. Clearly not a walking friendly area. Boo. 

Despite being perfectly happy with living at ground level, the daily sight of the houses tucked in the hills, stirs a slight jealousy in me. Grass always seems greener.
