I didn't get clearance from  my coworkers but hopefully they don't mind me sharing some Halloween awesomeness.

I'm embarrassed to say despite all my years in LA and trolling downtown, I've never seen these views from Bunker Hill until this past weekend.

There are some funny people out there. Someone put a fake mouse on this public bench.

Been noticing these stickers around Long Beach the last couple months. Very graphic and Obey-like. Kinda intriguing.

Everybody expresses themselves differently. Still I often wonder why people place these type of stickers on their cars. Especially this one.

Considering I drive a Mitsubishi Galant, no one would say I'm a car guy. Still, I'm always compelled to click a few shots of  classic cars I pass.

There's a perfectly round water stain where our potted plant used to sit. It angered then saddened me to think somebody would take what's not theirs. Unfortunately, sometimes, people suck.

A farm in the suburbs? Yup. Surrounded by strip malls and planned communities is Tanaka Farms in Irvine. In the summer you can pick strawberries and watermelons. Today we grabbed the squash of the season.

Was at my local Borders and saw my friend Jonathan's magazine in the racks. Here's a dreamer who went and did what he enjoyed. Good to see it coming to life. Inspiring. http://jacquesmag.blogspot.com

Walked by a lawn with random mushrooms sprouting. College-self might have wanted to eat them in hopes of a good time.

I remember when bright colored gum was pure joy. Happiness was cheap back then.

Food Truck craze came to Long Beach today.  I sampled a bunch of trucks and wasn't too impressed.  But i guess it's better than the boring, old roach coaches.

Went to the local mall with the goal of finding something weird or odd. Mission accomplished.

This pic of the Rusty Pelican in Newport feels retro. Makes me long for the summer months I took for granted.

A local shop sign at dusk. Very charming and old school chivalrous.

Lunch special @ Miyako Hybrid Hotel restaurant: Gonpachi  21381 S. Western Ave. Torrance, CA 90501

Not very macho but I love flowers. The colors, patterns, textures, etc. Can't walk past a pretty one without snapping a pic.

Neighborhood doors. They catch my eye. Welcoming.

Everytime I visit my parents they stuff me full of Filipino food. And like a good Filipino boy, I eat it with both a spoon and a fork.

Lots of folks in the neighborhood have plumerias in their yards. Growing up in Hawaii we would steal them to make leis. Very fragrant tropical flower.

A shot of somebody's mailbox here in Long Beach. It's one of the many reasons this neighborhood has wooed me.

Wispy smoke? Drops of food coloring? Alien renderings? Sperm? Nope. Just jellyfish at the aquarium.

The stillness and quiet of the Long Beach marina made me stop in my tracks. Wish I could replicate this state in my chaotic brain.

Had my first taste of the Blue Label few weeks ago. Tasty and smooth. No wonder so pricey.

Golden sun between the yellowing leaves. Fall makes its quiet entrance here in Cali.

Took a photo of a photo @ OC Museum. Marilyn was hot back in the day albeit crazy.

Kite Festival yesterday. Something magical about seeing so many kites blowing in the air.

This is the start of my ramblings from my iPhone. Pics mostly. Big ideas sometimes. Deep thoughts rarely.
