This Thanksgiving holiday brought me some relaxation and reflection. On a quiet, long walk I spotted a bumper sticker I couldn't answer.

It's funny how you can spend decades in a city yet never see one of its icons. But I suppose that's possible when we never leave our personal neighborhood niches.

Daylight savings has darkened my after work walks to the car. At least Santa Monica is pretty in the dark. 

I've been stuck in a darkened room all day so my sunny lunchtime stroll looked even more spectacular than normal.

A vivid, solid rainbow dominated the sky above morning traffic. It brought a smile to my face, but my fellow commuters hardly noticed.
